Community Learning Exchange Fund now open
The Community Learning Exchange (CLE) fund offers small sums of funding to enable visits which build mutual support across the community sector through peer-to-peer learning – the best way to test and develop new ideas is to learn from people already on the journey themselves.
The CLE offers funding to plan and deliver a learning exchange with a host organisation, with £200 to cover planning and up to £1,000 per exchange visit to cover travel and other costs.
Scottish Community Alliance, which organises the fund, has a series of case studies highlighting previous exchanges and the learning and connections that have been developed as a result.
CHEX, part of SCDC, is a member of the SCA and can act as a referring organisation for those wishing to apply. To apply for the fund, all CHEX network organisations need to do is list CHEX as their sponsoring organisation.
If you haven’t already, ensure you are eligible by signing up to the CHEX community-led health database. If you have any questions, please contact Andrew Paterson at CHEX at andrew@scdc.org.uk.
